We are glad to report the release of the English versions of our country reports, which are now available to download on our website. The reports offer a comprehensive overview of the politics of accountability in the aftermath of the crisis in six European countries (Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Cyprus). The six reports offer fresh insights on the policies deployed by national authorities in their effort to deal with the causes of the crisis, shedding light on three key accountability mechanisms: truth commissions and other fact-finding bodies; prosecutions/trials; and official apologies. They also detail the narratives of blame that emerged during the crisis, the impact of the tools of accountability, and finally, highlight institutional lessons learned in conjunction with the processes of accountability. Local language versions will be released shortly.
